The Head of Paid Search role is to support and progress the Paid Search team constantly offering a service that is best in class. Managing budgets that equate an overall multi-million pound ad spend across multiple ad networks. This involves overviewing all aspects of the service making improvements where ever possible alongside managing a select few clients. Working closely with clients and internal staff on Paid Search strategy, helping clients understand how Paid Search can be part of their marketing mix and how it can sit alongside wider digital campaigns. Main duties & responsibilities include: Management of staff and continued staff development Constantly strive to improve and maintain processes and procedure documents Be the go to within the agency for all things Paid Search Identify and execute internal training raising Paid Search understanding company wide Maintain and increase efficiency across the Paid Search team Develop the service offering to maintain best in class standard Responsible for commercial growth of the department Identify sales opportunities Handle and prepare sales documentation and sales pitches Lead, speak and engage at external events and conferences Maintain expert knowledge at the forefront of Paid Search. Stay up to date with emerging tech and trends Manage, maintain and grow partner relations Overall responsibility for Paid Search retention Maintain and update Paid Search sales documentation Maintain highest standards of account implementation Continuously drive overall paid spend ensuring high ROI
